Chloe Turpin is a visual artist and musician based in London, UK. Her work across performance, installation, video and sound considers the voice as a political ground. She creates fictions where gesture and repetition adress issues about gender, psychoanalysis and the politics of emotions in the post-truth era.
She is currently studying on the MFA Fine Art at Goldsmiths College, London, UK. She holds a Masters in Performance from Brighton University, UK and a Bachelor in Fine Art from UQAM, Montreal, CA. She performed and exhibited her work in the UK, Canada and Europe and recently at Take Courage gallery, Deptford X festival, London (2019). As a vocalist and musician, Chloe worked with other artists such as Cally Spooner (Performa 13, NYC; KW Institute, DL; Tate Britain Live, London) and Pil and Galia Kollectiv (Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam). She has played with several bands and is currently working on her solo recording project Onz Loh.
